2wd Short Course trucks are the hottest thing on race tracks world-wide, and we’re specialising in SC racing at Launceston R/C. Check out the Traxxas Slash, Team Associated SC10, HPI Blitz, Kyosho Ultima SC, Losi XXX-SC or Venom Gambler to get started. Any of these will make good race trucks at Launceston R/C.

Body Specs
- Full Fender Truck Body. Body must completely cover tyres when viewed from above.
- NO add-on or integrated Spoilers/Wings allowed.
- Front and rear bumpers must be used. Front Bumper Minimum Width 171mm.
Motor/Battery Spec
- ROAR Approved 10.5 Brushless or higher (find the list of approved 10.5 turn motors here)
- Standard brushed motors as supplied with RTR 2wd SC Trucks
- Standard kits with Brushless motors must be 10.5 or greater, and sensored as per the approved 10.5 turn motors here
- ROAR Approved hard-case 2S 7.4V LiPo or 7.2V 6cell NiMh
- Other batteries may be approved on case-by-case basis, but ROAR approved LiPo cells are highly recommended
- ESC with zero timing (ie no use of turbo, advanced or dynamic timing)
