The committee has been arranging a number of fundraising BBQ’s in order to raise funds to improve the facilities we have at Launceston R/C and it is your turn to help out.

Alex Court has arranged with Harvey Norman to have the BBQ at their shop on three dates, the 7th of April, 5th of May and 2nd of June and we need your help to man and run these BBQ’s. Setup will be at 9am, with the selling of sausages and hamburgers to begin at 10am until at least middle of the afternoon.

If you are able to help, please email what days you are able to help to launcestonrc@outlook.com .  Even if it is just for a few hours on on of the days.

If you haven’t done anything like this before, there is some information that we need you to read in regards to safe food handling which is a requirement of out permit from the Launceston City Council.  The information can be found at https://www.imalert.com.au/foodsafety/training/welcome.php?sub=launceston and does require registration, but it is free so please take the time to learn about safe food handling practices.
