Timetable – Practise from 2pm friday 5pm drivers meeting 5.30 racing starts
Practise from 8am saturday 9am drivers meeting 9.30 racing starts
Where – Scottsdale Show
Format – Friday
- 2 x 5 minute races per class ( qualifying)
- 1 x 5 minute final per class
- Final race result carried over to Saturday
- Racing finished around 9.00pm
Format – Saturday
- 4 x 5 minute Finals races for all classes
- Drop worst race result, best of 5 races including Friday’s final
- All drivers must marshal the following race
- format may alter
Classes –
- Super Stock electric tourers 13.5t
- Stock electric tourers 17.5t ,21.5
- Nitro tourers
- Mini
- 1/10th short course trucks
- 1/10th short course trucks 4×4
- 1/10th electric off road buggies
- 1/8th Electric off road nitro Buggies and Truggies
- juniors
Cost – $5.00 per person

Should be another awesome race meeting again this year , always great fun running under lights on Friday night and racing in front of a big crowd of spectactors 🙂
Are there any Hobart entries for this one ? Come on guys there are NO excuses this year , no V8 super taxis to clash with us like years gone by, NO weddings or bucks parties or other events that we know of? , get you backside track side and help support what has been a long time running event in Tassie , and help promote our great little hobby.
Come on all you Launie onroaders , get your entry in , this will be one of the last few times we get to run tourers in the north for some time, lets show the off road dirt chuckers how its done and go out in style with some good numbers in both stock and super stock 🙂
I think this could be our 10th year of running the Scottsdale RC Challenge , come everyone , lets make it a big one 🙂 there are plenty of racers out there on and off roaders who are more than capeable of being competative out there on the high grip high speed surface.
