With the Launceston Cup now just 10 days away, its time we got the place ready for the hordes (85 entries so far!).
Work begins this Saturday at 12 pm to strip the old track Kay out, setup the venue for the event, and begin work on the new layout and new off-road obstacles.
Please be there if you can. Bring brooms, cleaning gear (rags, spray and wipe, scrubbing brush, bucket etc). Don’t bring cars as there is strictly no practicing on the new track before next Friday’s practice sessions.
Lots more information to come in the next few days about the event format and arrangements.
One final note on an unrelated topic, Scott Guyatt is off to Qld for the Qld GP Offroad Champs this weekend. It’s a big event and you can follow his progress at either slyfoxrmt.com or his own reports at Action R/C

A special thanks to the small few that turned up to the working bee this Saturday. And a very special thanks to Greenie, Macca, Matt C, Damien and Ian who all put in a full 2 day weekend to make this track happen. It wouldn’t happen without you. I would say with confidence this is easily the best track LRC has seen to date. Thanks Sam Wells for the layout.
