This Thursday (December 8th) is the final Launceston R/C meet for 2011. It marks the end of our Spring series, and the end of our second full year of racing.
Make sure you’re there for one last chance at some great R/C action for the year.
We’ll resume January 12th and 26th for two non-points rounds before kicking off our first 2012 Championship season early February.
All the usual classes this week – Short Course, Novice, Tenth Buggy, 8th Big Bangers and Tourers. Come, race, enjoy.

Hi all,
Not going to make it back for the final race of the year. I’m still stuck in Norway. 6 hours of day light a day, and it has been snowing on and off for the last couple of days.
Good news is, that i have some really nice people, who are into R/C cars. Drifting and 1/10th buggy’s etc. Have shown them some video from our club and they were impressed. They loved the short coarse trucks. They are all going out to purchase one. I think they will need snow chains though. Haha.
Hope everyone had a good time at the Christmas party. Would have been a great day.
When will be the first race meeting in the new year? Any ideas yet. I should be home for January.
Anyway all the best to everyone at the club, and i wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year filled with great competitive racing.

I’ll be selling my Hyper 9E as of the end of this race meet so if anyone want to come take a look on Thursday they are more than welcome. Around $200 for the rolling chassis, $350 will get you 2 nitro chassis’ as well as a box full of parts ontop of the E chassis, will also throw in a couple of sets of tyres. (Hobbywing 150A ESC/2200kv motor combo $150). (Tekin 1900kv motor and sensor cable $80), (3x GensAce 5000mah 4S Roar Approved batteries, $140), (2x Turnigy 4500mah 4S $50). Will also have an SC10 for sale, Bullydog RTR body, RTR radio/reciever/servo and ESC, brand new RTR motor, (coming in the mail) Proline switch tyres on beadlock rims, some spare parts and Factory Team shocks $150 for the lot.

Looking forward to a great finish to what has been an amazing year of racing with a great bunch of RC racers .. hopefully i can get my tourer to hook up so i can run with Andrew M this week 😉
