It’s a big week of R/C action in northern Tasmania!
Thursday night kicks off the action with our usual club meeting at Rutherglen. Doors open by 6, racing by 7. Anything electric powered is welcome, with specific classes for Short Course Trucks, 10th Buggy, 8th Scale, Tourers and our open “Novice” class for anything 10th scale in size. Come and race, enjoy.
Friday night and Saturday the attention swings to the annual Scottsdale Show event. Hit the event thread for all the details (including entry lists). It’ll be a fun night and day (even if you can only make one or the other) with plenty of spectators checking out the action. Classes for electric and nitro, so whatever you’ve got, there’s a home for it.
If all that isn’t enough, head south for Hobart on Sunday for some on-road action with the guys at the Southern Tasmania Model Car Club.
Don’t forget if you’ve put your name against a transponder, we have a shipment arriving this week and you can collect them Thursday night.
Whew!
I’ll be there taking the Slash for a run in the Normal Short Course Class Ready for Scottsdale since the blitz is still broken-down and the Vorza will be returning for a run in Big Bangers, ive realised that i can turn down my throttle setting to cope with the Smaller Track and lets see how it goes!
See Ya Thursday! James
Ive got a new motor for the Short Course Trucks; Need to give the new motor a test run in the Slash at work and if it goes well i’ll be transfering all of the main items back into the Blitz so i can have a HPI Night of Racing for me!
