Launnie Scale Model Expo – this Saturday 22nd Oct

We’ve had contact today from the Launceston Scale Model Club to ask if we’d like to display at their annual expo that takes place this Saturday.

It’ll be at St Albies Hall in Margaret St, with doors open for setup from 7am, and visitors arriving from 9am.

Greenie (Andrew) will be coordinating our display, and is looking for cars, and volunteers. The job is to hang about, tell stories about R/C cars and Launceston R/C (and NWRCCC or Hobart clubs) to people who ask.  However long you might be able to hang about would be helpful.  It’s a static display, not involving driving cars.

Leave a note here if you can help, or get hold of Greenie on 0408366974

Great chance to promote R/C plus our club. Be great to have your help.

Yyeah, this is a great way for us to show off our sport peeps!
even if you cant stay for long, that cool, but if you could bring your cars down for the display that would be great. I’ll be maning the display so the cars will be looked after, the more cars the more interest!!! Buggys, truggys, trucks and cars, the more, the better!!! if you can stay for a bit and help with questions, that would be great too. i know its short notice, but after the interest we got from last time, its worth the effort.
    Greenie out!!!!!
