Launceston R/C action returns to Rutherglen Raceway this week for another night of power-packed racing.

And if that’s not enough, it’s also the Scotsdale Show this Friday and Saturday.  Details of the racing are here….and let me encourage you to make it if you can. It’s a blast with some great racing and good fun.

This Thursday night at Rutherglen, we’re going to take the opportunity of another non-championship week to trial a different format for our racing.  All in the name of learning, experimenting and fun.

This week we’re back to running 5 minute heats and finals, but we’ll try running just two qualifiers, and two finals.  Overall results for the night will be based on combined results from your two finals.  You’ll get points for positions (1st = 1, 2nd = 2 etc), and we’ll add them together.  In the case of ties we’ll use qualifying position.

You’ll get two chances to qualify, and then two heads up races.  Four five minute races in all.

Come and race, play and enjoy as we continue to develop Launceston R/C.  Doors open by 6, racing by 7.
