We’ve come a long way in the six months since we first committed to developing Launceston R/C.  Its time to step it up a further notch with Club Memberships now available for the 2010/2011 financial year.

Your membership fees will help us further develop Launceston R/C as a great place to go racing, and a welcoming community.  Membership fees will go toward further development of the track, our goal of transponder lap counting, and all the important but un-sexy stuff like insurance, incorporation and so on.

Membership fees for 2010/11 are set at $50 for adults, $30 for junior members (aged 16 and under) and $80 for families.

Members will continue to pay $10 race fees (plus $5 for second classes), while non-member fees will increase to $15.  New/non-members will get their first three race meetings at the member rates, before non-member rates apply. This gives newcomers the chance to ‘try us out’ at Launceston R/C before committing.

Non-member race fees will apply from 1st August 2010….so there’s plenty of time to have your membership forms filled in and returned.

Membership forms should be lodged with Scott Guyatt or Paddy Hume. You can track Scott or Paddy down at any of our race meets, or post to 30 Andrea Pl, Riverside 7250.
