We’re officially ready.  The track is down, and we’re ready for racing to begin tomorrow night.

We opted for  a slightly smaller layout than first planned, and will expand it as necessary and practical over the next couple of months.

The software doesn’t let me show the track perfectly, but its close. The diagonal has a table top jump in it. Offroad cars will use that infield section with stutter bumps and table top, while the flat-track cars will continue down that bottom straight.

Surface is still dusty and slick, but we hope it will clean up with some running. At the moment its ideally suited to offroad cars, minis and rally cars. Tourers we’ll try as the surface cleans up and grip improves.

Come on down tomorrow night (11 Feb) for some fantastic racing action.  Launceston…..R/C is back!
